Ed Bootle, CFP®




Ed Bootle began his career in the financial services industry in 1997. His career experience includes the roles of Division Director with Investors Group, District Vice-President of Sales for an internationally recognized mutual fund company, a practicing stock broker for a bank-owned firm, as well as a Securities Planning Specialist with Investors Group Securities Inc. He has instructed for the Canadian Securities Institute and has taught numerous business courses for the Shaw School of Business at the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology.

Prior to his financial services career, Ed served as a member of the Canadian Armed Forces where he obtained his Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration (B.Admin). He has obtained the Certified Financial Planner (CFP) and Financial Management Advisor (FMA) professional designations.

Ed is a founding board member of Valour Place, a charity to support veterans, wounded soldiers and RCMP members and is the past of the MacEwan University Alumni Advisory Council.
